Sugarloaf Showdown to Challenge Anglers Nov. 10-12 in Lower Keys

The ninth annual Sugarloaf Showdown is a bonefish, permit, and barracuda fishing tournament open to all anglers, taking place on November 10-12. Presented by the Lower Keys Guides Association, the tournament is a fundraiser for the LKGA and the Florida Keys Guides Trust Foundation. Awards will be given to the teams in each division with the highest total points representing catches of all three species. If no team catches all three, the team with the highest point total representing two species will be declared the winner. The entry fee is $250 for a two- or three-person team until October 31, and $300 thereafter. Only two people on each team are allowed to fish.
