Florida Anglers Earn Sugarloaf Showdown Win in Lower Keys

The Sugarloaf Showdown was a fishing tournament that took place in the Lower Florida Keys from November 12-14. The tournament had three divisions- spin, fly, and youth. The grand champions of the spin division were Scott Brown and Honson Lau, who earned 2,050 points. The grand champions of the fly division were Nick LaBadie, Jessyca Garlock, and Ben Bortner, who earned 800 points. The grand champions of the youth division were Pat Bracher and his daughter Charley Bracher, who earned 1,600 points.
