Hailing from Columbia, South Carolina, Nick's distinctive sound was shaped by a rich blend of influences, including local heroes like Edwin McCain and Hootie & the Blowfish, as well as legends such as Stevie Wonder and The Band. His music masterfully combines the rootsy rhythms of FM radio with the inspiring power of gospel melodies from his local church. A lifelong friend and collaborator of country star Lee Brice, Nick began his musical journey in his teenage years, recording in a makeshift studio built alongside Lee in a church camp pump house. After establishing himself as one of Key West’s premier musical talents, his latest album propelled him back to Nashville, where he recorded a collection of raw, roots-driven tracks at Zac Brown's Southern Ground Studio, including several co-written with Lee Brice. Produced by Lee Brice, Rob Hatch, and Elisha Hoffman, this album represents Nick Norman's most compelling work to date and marks the inaugural release on Pump House Records.
