30th Annual 5K Hog Trot Set for November 30 in Key West
Key West’s beloved 5K Hog Trot returns for its 30th year on Saturday, November 30, starting at 8 a.m. in front of the iconic Hog’s Breath Saloon at 400 Front Street. This year’s event will once again benefit the Florida Keys SPCA, with proceeds supporting vital animal rescue and care efforts throughout the Keys.
Runners of all ages are invited to participate, with registration fees starting at $20 for ages 12 and under, $40 for early registrants, and $45 on race day. Packet pickup is available on Friday, November 29, from 3 to 5 p.m., or the morning of the race starting at 6:30 a.m.
The event concludes with an awards ceremony and raffle at Hog’s Breath Saloon, featuring prizes and free beer for participants 21 and older (ID required). Age group awards and overall winners will be recognized.
Parking is available nearby, and participants are reminded that bicycles, dogs, and skates are not permitted on the course for safety reasons.
