Hemingway 5k Sunset Run & Beach n' Beer Mile

The annual Hemingway 5K Sunset Run, taking place Saturday, July 26, 2025, is a featured highlight of the Hemingway Days festivities running July 23–27 in Key West. From 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., participants can register outside the Southernmost Beach Cafe at 1405 Duval Street before the race officially kicks off at 7:30 p.m. at the Southernmost Point. Following the scenic 5K run/walk, the lively awards beach party unfolds from 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. back at the cafe, treating attendees to Papa’s Pilar Rum and Islamorada Beer tastings, savory snacks, raffles, and energetic live entertainment. Inside the venue, happy hour specials on food and drinks will be offered throughout the evening on the 20th, adding an extra layer of excitement to the week’s celebrations.
