Connections Project: A Mosaic of the Keys Pop-Up at Key West Art & Craft Festival

When: February 22 - February 23, 2025

Where: Truman Waterfront Park, at the end of Southard St, Key West, FL 33040

The Connections Project: A Mosaic of the Keys 2025 masterfully combines the tradition of previous years with fresh, innovative ideas, celebrating the rich tapestry of visual and performing arts throughout the Florida Keys. This season features 10 exclusive pop-up events across the county, each venue presenting nearly 100 unique canvases created by talented Keys artists alongside live performances by exceptional local musicians. Art enthusiasts can select and take home a personalized 6" x 8" landscape-oriented canvas for a $100 donation, with all proceeds funding grants for artists residing and working in the Florida Keys. Music lovers will enjoy vibrant performances at every public reception, enhancing the festive atmosphere. Thanks to the generous support of Royal Furniture, a limited number of canvases are available on a first-come, first-served basis, accessible at all Monroe County Library branch front desks. Participants must return their completed canvases with an artist statement by January 2, 2025. The event calendar kicks off with the Grand Opening on January 8th in Marathon and includes highlights such as Art Under the Oaks in Islamorada, the Lower Keys Chamber Nautical Market in Big Pine Key, and the Key West Craft Show at Truman Waterfront Park. With a diverse lineup of venues and dates, the Connections Project invites the community to engage, create, and support local artistry. Don’t miss the opportunity to collect your 2025 Mosaic and contribute to the flourishing artistic community of the Keys. Make your donation today and become a vital part of this inspiring mosaic celebration!
