Tony V began his stand-up comedy career in 1982 at Boston’s Comedy Connection, transitioning from a high-pressure job as a case worker. With a B.S. in Psychology and progress toward a Master’s in social work, his streetwise humor and empathy quickly made him a national headliner. Named "Funniest Person in Massachusetts" by Showtime in 1986, Tony V has appeared on HBO, Comedy Central, and network TV, including "Seinfeld." He's acted in films, performed at benefits, and opened for major acts like Jay Leno and The Beach Boys.
